The IST AG FS7 thermal mass flow sensor is the successor to the FS5 flow sensor and features a symmetrical heater design and enhanced sensitivity. The FS7 flow sensor is suitable for gases and offers excellent long-term stability. The FS7 sensor has a low thermal mass and fast response time. In addition, the standard FS7 sensor is available in a housing for easy implementation into a wide range of applications.

Gas flow sensor element
The use of precise thin film heating technology and temperature sensing structure ensures the high sensitivity of the sensor and a compact and rugged physical structure. The dynamic range of the wind speed gas flow sensor is up to 100m/s and the operating temperature is up to +400°C.
FS7 (link to product in shop) is our most widely used gas flow sensor, it is suitable for applications where the flow direction is known. The lightweight package makes it easy to assemble into various flow paths, and its excellent long-term stability makes the flow sensor an ideal choice for control and safety applications.
With the FS2 and MFS02 sensors, you can measure mass flow and simultaneously monitor the direction of flow. Their ultra-wide dynamic range makes them ideal for applications ranging from medical microfluidics to large HVAC systems. Liquid flow sensor element
OOL, short for Out of Liquid (non-contact measurement), is a flow-through sensor with stainless steel as the only liquid contact material. Based on the anemometer principle, this robust sensor is suitable for a wide range of aggressive liquids including coolant mixtures, oils containing particles or cleaning chemicals used in CIP systems.
The highly accurate and reliable OOL liquid flow sensor is suitable for measuring liquid flow in corrosive liquids. The back metallized heater and temperature sensor chip are soldered on the stainless steel flow channel, providing excellent thermal contact performance with the liquid without direct contact with the liquid. The OOL demo board can quickly obtain measurement results.
OOL sensors are used in: mass flow + temperature measurement, liquid flow switch, leak detection, bubble detection.

Flow Module
The OOL flow meter is a digital module that continuously monitors mass flow and temperature. It is housed in a rugged housing and factory calibrated for a plug-and-play sensor solution.
IST's leak detection Flow OOL-module is equipped with a highly sensitive flow sensor assembly that can detect extremely small liquid flows with an accuracy of < 3 % FS, a repeatability of < 0.3 % FS (measured in deionized water over the temperature range of +5 to +50°C) and a response time of 500 ms.
The new thermal OOL mass flowmeters from IST AG are suitable for a wide range of applications, from cooling circuits, metering pumps, white goods, CIP systems in the food industry, agricultural machinery, industrial wet vacuum cleaners to gear oils used in metalworking and mining, and can be easily integrated into new or existing industrial systems.
